CP24報道，炎熱警報今日繼續生效，加上濕度多倫多體感溫接近38度，本地避暑中心已經開放。
多倫多衛生部門宣佈炎熱警告延期，以下地區為避暑中心：
• Metro Hall – 55 John St. (This cooling centre remains open 24 hours a day for the duration of the extreme heat warning)
• East York Civic Centre – 850 Coxwell Ave.
• North York Civic Centre – 5100 Yonge St.
• Driftwood Community Centre – 4401 Jane St.
• Etobicoke Civic Centre – 399 The West Mall
• McGregor Community Centre – 2231 Lawrence Ave. E.
• Centennial Park Community Centre – 1967 Ellesmere Rd.
這六個泳池從會一直開放到夜晚11:45：
• Alexandra Park – 275 Bathurst St.
• Giovanni Caboto – 1369 St. Clair Ave. W.
• Greenwood Park – 150 Greenwood Ave.
• McGregor Park – 2231 Lawrence Ave. E.
• Smithfield – 175 Mount Olive Dr.
• Sunnyside Gus Ryder – 1755 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
衛生部門建議市民多補水，避免過多戶外活動，週五氣溫會有所下降。
