據CTV報道，多倫多消防局表示，今天下午接到一處高層建築的3級火災警報，火災似乎來自一個電箱。目前，火災警報已升級到6級，消防隊員仍在現場滅火。
消防隊員於今天下午1:15趕到位於Parliament St夾St James Ave（Bloor以南）的火災現場。
當局表示，電箱著火，導致濃煙在整棟建築中擴散。
多倫多消防局已出動26輛消防車、100名消防隊員和17臺抽水機及其它工具、人員。

絕大多數單元的人員都已被疏散，但仍有個別居民為了避免吸入濃煙留在陽台上。
