今日是六四事件30周年,支聯會在香港維園舉行燭光悼念集會。支聯會在集會中宣布共有18萬人參加燭光晚會,悼念30年前在六四事件中的死難者。

大會歷時兩個多小時,在晚上十時許結束。前來參加的人坐滿6個足球場及草地場,大會宣布超過18萬人參加晚會,香港警方則表示集會高峰期有3萬7千人。

今年參與的人數有18萬,與2012年及2014年並列最多人參與記錄。

集會中播放了天安門母親代表張先玲的錄音講話,張先玲指,維園燭光30年來,陪伴著「天安門母親」走過坎坷的歷程,指「天安門母親」堅持真相、賠償、問責三項訴求,批評執政當局一直不敢面對,強調真相終將戰勝謊言。

當年學聯代表李蘭菊發言  不忘死難者生命最後體溫

香港學聯代表李蘭菊30年前在北京支援八九學運,六四後移居加拿大,她應邀上台見證當晚的軍人在天安門清場的一幕,講述當時情況。

李蘭菊發言時說:「我們今晚來悼念六四的亡魂,更要堅持平反六四,因為六四除了有殘忍的殺戮,更有中國共產黨無恥的謊言。」

李蘭菊詳細講述當晚自己在廣場內外見到學生受傷送醫院的情境,並說三十年來,她記住每一個細節,甚至記住死難者生命最後的體溫。

有參與集會的中國內地人表示,香港是最近內地而可公開悼念的地方,所以專程到香港參與燭光晚會,但他們認為香港越來越內地化,擔心日後更難爭取平反六四,希望香港人要維護人權、民主及自由。

參與集會人士中不乏香港當地的年輕人,大學生Pansy表示,自己是第2年出席六四集會,覺得六四事件不應被忘記,要守護真相。她不認同六四集會是「行禮如儀」,指她小時候從新聞看到六四集會才知道有六四事件,「如果連集會都消失的話,這一代很難知道六四係咩一回事」。

剛考完公開試的中學生林同學表示,小時候從父母口中得知六四事件,直至現時考完公開試有空餘時間, 認為應履行公民責任,出席集會紀念30年前為國家自由民主而犧牲的一班年青人。他指,除個別老師外,學校課程沒有提及六四事件,但國家要發展必須認清自身歷史,所以學校亦應多談六四事件。

第一次參與集會的周太表示,今年香港面對很多困境,如政府強推《逃犯條例》修訂,認為政府高官沒有說出真相,不為香港市民着想,加上作為媽媽的她,看到天安門媽媽的呼籲,非常感慨,故今年出席集會。

家長帶同子女集會  冀了解六四真相

有不少家長帶同子女出席,和9歲女兒出席集會的林先生表示,今年適逢六四30周年,加上有《逃犯條例》修訂,希望帶同女兒到現場,讓她了解六四事件。

不願上鏡的朱太帶同5歲兒子出席,她說,自兒子1歲起,每年都會帶他出席集會,希望傳承真相。她直言,擔心《逃犯條例》修訂後會被秋後算帳,因此不願意上鏡。
