【星島綜合報道】安省一個地區成為全省首個沒有活躍新冠病例的地區。
據CP24報道，蒂米斯卡明衛生單元（Timiskaming Health Unit）位於濕比利（Sudbury）以北約310公里處。這個衛生單元成為安省34個衛生單元裡唯一一個沒有活躍病例的衛生單元。
還有幾個地區僅有幾個活躍病例，這些地區包括Algoma, Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, 以及 Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District等。
這個消息並不讓人吃驚。活躍病例大多集中在大多地區。
根據安省省府提供的數據，多倫多周六有2,514宗活躍病例，活躍病例最多。皮爾區有1,903宗活躍病例，渥太華有583宗活躍病例。
儘管蒂米斯卡明衛生單元沒有活躍病例，該地區和全省其他地區一樣，仍然處於封鎖狀態。安省重開計劃未允許分區重開。
相比之下，安省之前的顏色分級重開系統實施分區操作，允許在疫情不那麼嚴重的地區放寬限制。
